You have two factions: The Core and the Arm whose only goal is to eliminate the other completely. At the time the intro was great and it pretty much summed up the story. If 3.9, then try running the executable itself, regardless of Steam. On the surface Total Annihilation (TA) seemed like another real time strategy game (RTS) set in the future. If you are merely trying to run the 'as is' 'Steam TA', then make sure the installation is verified. I personally use the CD installs.which are the same game. Others are more capable of helping with Win10 and Steam.

If you do not get Steam TA to work, you can always try the GOG.com version (same game, a GOG installer, without Steam), or you could try some other install of TA. Steam TA is 3.1 and should work of itself, but browse the posts or TAU Forums or wait for people to help you here.īut I would seek to upgrade the Steam 3.1 TA to the 3.9 patch (which is not supported by Steam) and launch it from the executable.

If you are using 3.9 patch as recommended (and posted on the Steam TA Community Forums), then I think TA is launched outside Steam by launching the executable itself.
